USING DASHBOARDS TO GET A BIRDS EYE VIEW OF INFORMATION

*****************************************************************

When you are able to sit at your desk in the morning and see a dashboard of sales information, staff, production, clients in your pipeline etc., it really adds a sense of control to your day.

It allows you the option to see one screen, where there might be potential problems and where you need to focus. You can then start to click and drill down until you found the problem and you received all the information in order to address the problem.

From there you can take action, armed with proper information, reports and data to execute your solution.

Here in this dashboard I show you what it looks like when I design a dashboard for a client. It depends on what their business requirements are. These dashboards can be interactive or static. If they are interactive it means, as you change settings, the graphs will also change. A static dashboard does not move as selections are made. In fact there is no selection options on a static dashboard.
