- Client in auction industry
Problem
One of my clients in the auction industry, were capturing all his sales information manually.
Approach
After studying the business we decided to take the business electronic. We created a system, where all the products were numbered and captured into the system. Sales info were captured in the computer, so when the buyers and seller wanted to pay or collect their money, the computer would print an invoice with all the products detail as well as the amount the customers had to pay or receive.
Result
It made their business faster and much more effective.
2. Client in furniture industry
Problem
This client is in the manufacturing and restoration of furniture. His business had no accounting system, proper procedures and systems in place. One were unable to establish the real income or profit of the business. Their was huge amounts invested in stock, which took a while to move through the business and converted into cash.
Approach
We started to look at a financial software package to be able to record all transactions. Stock quantities were brought down, to only keep essential line items that brings in income. Marketing campaigns were started.
Result
We increased turnover and made the business more profitable.
3. Client in logistics industry
Problem
Stock losses was one of the main issues for this client. Initially it was thought, theft or shrinkage was the main reason why there was a stock loss.
Approach
We started the project to determine what the possible cause was for the stock loss, only to find out the main reason was, systems and procedures that was in place has fallen out the back door. The stock system and warehouse was not in line, meaning perishable products would expire in the warehouse, because the system did not do the replenishing properly.
Result
We aligned the warehouse and stock system, and implemented the systems and procedures that was not in place. Within six months the stock loss was reduced by 85%.
4. Mobility solution in FMCG industry
Problem
The client needed to track the sales force throughout South Africa and produce reports for their clients.
Approach
We implemented a software solution across 300 devices nationally over a period
of 6 to 12 months in order to track and gather data in order to provide reports
for their clients.
Result
Client was able to improve performance in sales calls of sales force and better retention of clients.
